Andrew is a local boy, having grown up in Sticker. He attended Poltair School where he won an award for his GCSEs and then Truro College.
After a stint outside the county to obtain his legal qualifications at the University of Kent at Canterbury and the College of Law Guildford passing with Distinction, Andrew returned to undertake his training contract with Nalders Solicitors in 2007. He qualified into the Wills and Probate department in November 2009 and was made a senior solicitor in May 2013.
Andrew has worked at our Camborne, Falmouth and Newquay offices and is now based in St Austell. He also looks after the Wills and Probate practice at our Newquay office.
As a Wills and Probate specialist, Andrew prepares Wills, Lasting Powers of Attorneys (property and finance, and health and welfare), Court of Protection applications, administration of financial affairs, Probate and the administration of estates, intestacy, inheritance tax planning and Deeds of Variation.
Andrew has an approachable and open manner with his clients. He is very flexible and conscientious with a keen attention to detail.
Outside the Office
Andrew is married with one daughter. He loves to travel and every year (except for 2020 and 2021 for obvious reasons!) he spends two weeks in Europe (Italy is a favourite) and two weeks in the USA and especially loves California. He is also passionate about cars.

Andrew has an LLB in Law and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice.
He has 16 years’ experience in private client work.
His work in this area is supervised by Mark Buswell.

My comments are generally positive solely due to the manner in which I was treated by Andrew McClure. He knew exactly what he was doing, he knew exactly what was required and his explanations were always easy to understand. He was friendly, helpful and an excellent advert for Nalders. Yes, I probably would use Nalders for a different type of work in the hope I received similar service to that which I received from Mr McClure. Good value for money, £120 + VAT for an hour or so works seems steep but it does give peace of mind which is difficult to put a price on.
