Cornish born and bred, Phil was lured back to Cornwall by Nalders in 2001 after finishing his legal studies. Following qualification as a solicitor in 2003, Phil has remained at Nalders Solicitors ever since and became a partner in 2011.
Phil manages the personal injury and clinical negligence department. He has a wide range of experience in dealing with such matters, but specialises in cases which involve serious, complex and life-changing injuries, such as brain injuries and amputations, arising from accidents that occur in the workplace, as a result of road traffic accidents, and claims that stem from negligent treatment provided by medical practitioners. He has successfully settled numerous claims over the last 20 years totalling many millions of pounds for clients who have suffered significant and often life-changing injuries.
Phil prides himself on being able to provide easy to understand advice and options to enable clients to make informed decisions about their claims, often at a time when they are coming to terms with the trauma and emotional impact of serious injuries affecting all aspects of their lives. He is determined to seek early rehabilitation and assistance wherever feasible for clients to provide as much support to them and their families as possible as they learn to live with the implications of significant and life-changing injuries. Phil recognises that, for many clients, the claim process is often part of the journey of recovery and he strives to provide as much assistance as possible to make the process as easy to understand and stress free, whilst maintaining his focus upon securing the best outcome to ensure that each and every client has the financial support they need for their future.

Outside the office
When he is not in the office Phil can usually be found either on the fairways of West Cornwall Golf Club, where he plays to a high amateur standard, or exploring the Cornish countryside with his wife and two young daughters.
