Jane obtained her Law Degree at Kingston University (LLB hons), qualifying as a solicitor in Kent in 1990. She moved to Cornwall in 1995 and has been with Nalders since 2000. She has worked in most of our offices during her time at Nalders and is now based in Camborne but is happy to see clients at our Truro, Newquay or Falmouth offices as well.

Jane has a wealth of experience in all aspects of family law including divorce and all other types of relationship breakdown, finances and children disputes. In financial claims she has particular experience in dealing with cases involving large assets, farming interests and pensions. She can also assist and advise clients in the preparation of pre-nuptial and post nuptial agreements and living together agreements in order to protect their assets. In children matters she has a wide experience of dealing with all types of applications including child arrangement orders, removal from jurisdiction and applications for Special Guardianship Orders. She regularly represents clients at hearings in both the County Court and Magistrates Court.

Professional Organisations

She is a member of Resolution and adheres to their principles of a non-confrontational approach but with sound and proactive advice and representation. She is a past member of the Law Society’s Children Panel, Family Law Panel and Collaborative Law all of which have helped to complement her skills in helping clients to seek a non- confrontational resolution to their disputes.

Outside the Office 

Jane lives on the north coast with her husband and has two grown up children. In her spare time she enjoys reading, playing tennis, kayaking and is an active member of her local Marine Conservation Group.
