Dan grew up on The Lizard before attending the University of Law in London where he completed his Law Degree in 2017. Dan went on to the University of Law in Exeter to study the Legal Practice Course combined with an MSc in Law, Business and Management which he completed in 2021.
Dan started with Nalders in our Wills and Probate department in 2018 before finishing his training contract in our Business Department where he developed his knowledge across a variety of commercial, company and employment matters. Dan qualified as a solicitor in the firm's business department in 2023 and provides legal advice on construction, commercial, and corporate finance law.
In the construction sector, Dan advises clients on a broad range of issues, including disputes, contract negotiations, and regulatory compliance. With a keen understanding of both the practical and legal complexities of the industry, Dan is committed to delivering practical, solutions-focused advice tailored to the specific needs of each client.
In addition to construction law, Dan advises clients on contentious and non-contentious commercial matters, including contractual disputes, business partnerships, and general commercial agreements. Dan’s strategic approach helps clients navigate complex legal challenges, mitigate risks, and achieve favourable outcomes.
Outside the Office
Outside of work Dan enjoys exploring the Cornish coast by foot or on the water, as well as trying out some of the many great places to eat and drink.
Qualifications & Experience
I have an LLB in Law and an MSc in Law, Business and Management.
I have completed a Legal Practice Course and a Professional Skills Course.
I have 3 years experience in Business law.
My work is supervised by Gayle McDermott.
