Dale is the firm’s Managing Partner. He joined the firm in 2000 as a trainee solicitor and worked his way through the ranks; an example of Nalders' commitment to offering career development and progression to its staff.
Dale believes strongly in developing homegrown talent and this permeates through his approach to managing Nalders and its people. Developing and growing the firm’s talent and planning for future opportunities and growth is an important aspect of his role.
As well as his management duties, he has a successful company/commercial law practice. Dale specialises in the buying and selling of businesses, general company law matters, drafting and negotiating partnership and shareholder agreements, commercial contracts and employment law matters.
Dale has a keen interest in sports law and advises Truro City Football Club and Torquay United Football Club. He also acts as a legal advisor for other sporting clubs including golf, tennis and bowls organisations.

Dale provides regular training sessions to employers on Nalders Solicitors’ EPS scheme.

Career Highlights
Dale represented Rev. Hayley Preston in an unfair dismissal claim against the Methodist Church that went all the way to the Supreme Court. In the Employment Tribunal, he represented 3 clients in their claims for unfair dismissal which arose out of the same incident. Despite advice from Counsel that prospects were less than 50%, all claims succeeded with awards of £64,500, £76,000 and £84,500.
Outside the Office
Dale is a keen sportsman who played football for England Schools Under-18s. Now his number one hobby is golf, which he tries to fit around his young family. Dale is a trustee in The Cinnamon Trust.
