Emily is Cornish born and bred. She obtained an LLB (Hons) in Law from Cardiff University before completing her Legal Practice Course at the University of Plymouth. She has been with Nalders Solicitors since 2012, qualifying in March 2015 after working in the litigation department for the previous 18 months.
Emily specialises in residential landlord and tenant disputes and frequently attends court hearings with regards to recovering possession and rent arrears. Her practice also covers disputes in relation to wills and trusts and is she is currently enrolled on the ACTAPs course to become an accredited specialist in contentious trust and probate matters.
Emily's workload also includes professional negligence claims, debt claims and property disputes.
In addition to the local County Courts, Emily has appeared in County Courts outside of Cornwall, the Land Registration First-Tier Tribunal and the Chancery Division of the High Court.
She is focused on providing her clients with excellent client service and has already impressed clients with her straightforward, pragmatic approach to complex legal matters.
Outside the Office
Outside of work Emily loves to read and watch films and enjoys long walks with her dogs in the Cornish countryside and on the beautiful beaches (come rain or shine). She also loves to eat out and travel, both nationally and internationally.
